2026 Midwest Regional Burn Conference
Mark your calendar for October 22–23 and join us for the Midwest Regional Burn Conference at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. More than just a conference, this event serves as a central gathering point for the burn care community across the Midwest and Eastern Great Lakes regions. It supports the professionals who care for burn patients at every stage by providing practical education, sharing best practices, and strengthening the connections that support coordinated, team-based care. Designed for an interdisciplinary audience, the conference brings together physicians, nurses, advanced practice providers, physical and occupational therapists, psychologists, child life specialists, and other members of the burn care team. It also welcomes students and trainees, as well as professionals in trauma, emergency care, rehabilitation, wound care, pain management, and psychosocial support.
The main conference will officially kick off on Thursday, October 22. Attendees can expect relevant sessions, case-based discussions, and opportunities to connect with colleagues across specialties. The focus reflects the reality of burn care: collaboration across disciplines to support patients throughout the continuum of care.
Hosted by the Comprehensive Burn Center, this year’s conference also celebrates the grand opening of the new University Hospital Tower, featuring a newly combined burn unit and ICU. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in guided tours of these updated clinical spaces, along with seasonal evening events at the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. Join peers from across the region to learn, connect, and strengthen the delivery of burn care in your practice and community.
